Cologne/Munich. Dirk Bingler, currently CEO of GUS Group, has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Managing Director at GSG GENII Software Group GmbH, effective January 1, 2023.
GENII was founded in early 2022 to bring together a group of leading, independent, entrepreneurial software companies, including the GUS Group which specializes in integrated software solutions for the process industry and logistics. With companies such as Isah, SHD, Iptor and PDV – in addition to GUS Group – GENII provides vertical, industry specific software solutions and services purposefully developed to meet the needs of mid-sized businesses in the Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution, Public and Laboratories sector.
Dirk Bingler will drive the technology strategy of GENII Group companies and support the integration of further acquisitions by the Group. He will also continue to support the GUS Group in his new role as CTO at GENII. Dirk joined GUS Group in 2011 as Managing Director and under his leadership, developed the business into the leading provider of ERP and LIMS software in the medium-sized process and life science industry. GUS Group currently employs over 660 people.
