GENII Software Group starts as a strong partner for medium-sized enterprise software providers

Munich, 10 November 2022 ‒ With the foundation of GSG GENII Software Group ("GENII") at the beginning of the year, 18 successful software brands under one roof – including GUS, Isah, SHD, Iptor and PDV – with more than 2,000 employees across over 25 locations in the DACH region, Scandinavia, Benelux, the UK, France and Italy.

As a new dynamic player in the field of software for medium-sized businesses, GENII has set itself the clear goal of becoming the market leader. The group acts as a strong partner for software companies, businesses, customers and employees. All brands are characterised by a full-service approach: from software development through implementation to operation. There is a particular focus on process-oriented, industry-specific software, as well as a long-standing track record of success, evident in high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. GENII supports companies through digitalisation and ensures they are future-proofed in a volatile environment.

GENII currently generates revenue of around €340 million. Since its launch early in 2022, eight further companies have joined the group through acquisitions and succession arrangements – a clear signal that we are the preferred partner for hidden champions and entrepreneurs in the software sector.

The group is backed by experienced ERP software investors – led by Bregal Unternehmerkapital as the majority investor and Elvaston – in its strategy, which focuses on accelerated organic growth, the introduction of SaaS models and further strategic acquisitions.
