Karin, can you tell us a few things about Valk Solutions?
Our family business was founded in 1989. In 2011, we launched our omnichannel cloud platform to give retailers the opportunity to shop both in-store and online. With this innovative solution, we have built up an extremely loyal customer base. Our team of 100 experts is passionate about exceeding our customers' expectations.
What was the key reason for joining the GENII Group?
We wanted to drive growth not only in the Benelux countries but also in the DACH region. GENII won us over with its track record and, above all, the trust we felt in working together. We like and trust the people we've met at GENII implicitly. It was crucial for us that promises were consistently kept throughout the entire process.
At the same time, GENII is a network of independent companies. We remain flexible in our business operations, whilst at the same time benefiting from the group's network across Europe.
Have there already been initial success stories or noticeable changes since you joined the GENII Group?
We have been able to establish two new business areas, acquire around ten new clients and significantly expand existing client relationships. Additionally, with GENII's support, we have acquired two further companies.
What concrete added value does the GENII Group bring to customers and employees?
For customers, stability and future security are the top priorities. They depend on us for their core business and need to know what will happen to the company once we retire. For employees, the international structure opens up new perspectives and development opportunities. We also benefit greatly from the exchange of ideas within the group.
