For the GENII Group we are looking for an IT Security Officer (m/f/d) starting as soon as possible. You will be responsible for the group-wide security processes of our internal applications and systems and report directly to the GENII management (CTO).

Your tasks:

You advise the management of the GENII business units on all issues related to IT security and information security and report regularly on the current status.
The security officers of the GENII companies report directly to you.
You initiate and coordinate concrete measures to improve information security. This includes regular external penetration tests.
You control the implementation, evaluate the results and derive improvement measures together with your team.
Your tasks also include the validation of IT solutions from third-party providers (e.g. cloud services) with regard to their compliance with GENII IT security guidelines.
You lead the IT Security Council in the GENII Group, where existing ITSecurity processes are further developed and incidents are discussed.
Furthermore, you ensure that awareness and training measures for employees are carried out.
In addition, the supports the responsible persons in emergency/risk management.

Your skills:

Successfully completed studies in computer science, information security, business informatics or comparable training.
Broad IT knowledge around common IT systems, networks, firewalls, M365, cloud security, etc. to be accepted as a confident contact person within GENII.
Good knowledge of IT threats, attack patterns and best practices as well as common standards, laws and regulations. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Very good conceptual skills, creativity and a results-oriented approach.
Enjoy working with different teams of developers in the German and European environment.
Confident appearance, target group oriented communication skills and the ability to present complex issues in an understandable way.
Strong emotional and social skills that enable you to lead teams to success.
A good command of English.
