DevSecOps / Security Engineer (m/w/d)

For the central CTO area of GENII we are looking for a DevSecOps / Security Engineer (m/f/d) in Cologne, Hamburg or Munich as soon as possible, with whose help we would like to standardize, roll out and monitor security processes in the development and cloud operation of our software products. You will be responsible for group-wide security processes to incorporate security best practices as early as possible in the lifecycle of the various GENII applications.

Your responsibilities:

  • You advise and support the individual GENII development teams in the implementation of security requirements in software development and operations.
  • You will anchor Shift Left Security in the agile development processes and support this paradigm shift through regular coaching.
  • You accompany for the implementation of automated security checks in all phases of software delivery by integrating security controls, tools and processes into the DevOps workflow.
  • You will identify potential attack scenarios and assist with threat analysis and mitigation.
  • You further develop the guidelines and best practices for secure coding in development and test processes and ensure their implementation.
  • You coordinate regular external penetration tests and track the implementation of resulting measures.
  • You implement central processes to identify vulnerabilities in libraries, especially in used OSS.
