GELAS joins PDV, strengthening its range of software solutions for local authorities
Munich, 8 October 2026 – PDV GmbH ("PDV"), a portfolio company of GSG GENII Software Group ("GENII"), has acquired GELAS GmbH ("GELAS"). GELAS is a specialist provider of digital archiving and document management solutions for local authorities and public administrations. With its focus on the digitalisation of public administration, the acquisition expands PDV's portfolio of solutions for local authorities.
A key component of GELAS's offering is QNG (Questys Next Generation), a document management and archiving platform developed in-house. It supports core administrative processes in local authorities – from digital document processing through to audit-proof archiving. Thanks to interfaces with standard financial management and specialist systems, QNG can be seamlessly integrated into existing IT environments.
Dirk Nerling, Managing Director of PDV

With GELAS, we are strengthening our position in the market for digital administration solutions and expanding our offering to cover key local authority processes."
