Dear Karin, tell us about your company and your story prior to becoming a GENII company?
Our family company was founded in 1989. In 2011 we launched our omnichannel cloud platform to empower retailers both instore and online. With this innovative solution we built a loyal customer base with extremely low churn. Our team of 100 experts passionately works to exceed customer expectations.
Why did you choose to join the GENII group? Did you have any hesitations?
We aim to boost growth not only in the Benelux but also in the DACH region. Genii has an excellent track record and firm values. We very much like and trust the people we met of GENII. Via Genii we have access to the German market. We had no hesitations, during the acquisition process Genii kept all its promises.
How do you experience your own autonomy and go-to-market freedom?
Genii is not some kind of matrix, but a group of companies, all local heroes. The set up is entirely entrepreneurial with zero bureaucracy. We enjoy freedom and Genii allows us to develop our company. Besides we have access to a vast network of potential customers spread across Europe.
In what ways has your company grown since you partnered with GENII?
We developed two new verticals, we won some ten new customers and we increased our share of wallet with existing customers by selling new services. Also we have done two add-on acquisitions since we partnered with Genii. We’ve grown the business to more than 20 million euro revenue of which 68% recurring. One of our peer companies in Germany provides for local support of our customers in Germany.
