With the acquisition of a majority stake in Isah Software Group (“Isah”), a leading Dutch specialist for discrete manufacturing ERP software solutions, funds advised by Bregal Unternehmerkapital (“BU”) expand their portfolio in the European market for vertical enterprise software once more. The goal of the partnership is to further strengthen Isah’s leading position and to accelerate growth in its home market the Netherlands, but also in the German-speaking region and beyond. With the experience of multiple enterprise software companies in its current investment portfolio, BU will support Isah’s growth ambitions in the future by providing strategic advice, resources and access to a network of leading industry experts. As a long-term investor in leading mid-market ERP software providers, BU also brings significant expertise to the partnership.
Isah, co-founded by Paul van Abeelen in Tilburg in the Netherlands in 1987, develops and markets a comprehensive ERP software suite with manufacturing as well as administrative functionalities. The solution is deeply integrated in manufacturing customers’ end-to-end production processes, including engineering, shop floor control and maintenance modules. Relevant consulting and implementation services complement Isah’s offering. Today, Isah and its team of 100 experts support medium-sized and large customers in the manufacturing industries, both domestically and internationally in more than 20 countries around the globe.
Current CCO Frank Groot will take over the CEO position from founder Paul van Abeelen at the turn of the year. Together with Paul van Abeelen, who will continue to support management with a focus on strategy and product vision, Frank Groot and the management team will once more increase their investments in Isah. While Isah has already achieved attractive growth in the past years, a key goal of the partnership with BU is to help support Isah’s future development by investing into its experienced team and technology with both capital and expertise. We look forward to a successful partnership with the Isah team.
